Members of the Board of Directors

President: Tammy Wood
  • Required to register with Secretary of State of North Carolina as registered agent of Sweetbriar Farms POA, Inc.

  • Leads the Board and is responsible for overseeing and handling many of its procedural duties.

  • Must be knowledgeable about the community’s CC&Rs and governing documents and understand how to run an effective meeting.  Serves as the authority on all association rules and governing documents, and appoints committees as necessary or if dictated by the bylaws. 

  • Leads community and association meetings, handling such responsibilities as calling the meeting to order, announcing the agenda and ensuring adherence, maintaining attendee order and decorum, proposing questions, calling for votes and announcing the results, and recognizing others to speak on the floor. 

  • Executes contracts, orders and other documents in the name of the association as its agent.

  • Serves at spokesman for the Board in most matters relating to general association business.

  • Manages the community well.

Tammy lives in SBF on Westridge Dr. with her husband Bob, as a full-time resident for the past 9 years. After a couple months in SBF, she filled the short-term position as the Alternate for SBF BOD, then moved into the Secretary position for 5 years from 2017 through 2021. While serving and maintaining the secretary role, she: started the neighborhood committees, assisted with the updating of covenants, improved the community’s communications with newsletters, created POA directory, and implemented the Sign-up genius for the community activities.

She held numerous leadership positions in the fields of BSNursing, Teaching, Director of Children’s Ministries, Canine training and locally founding and leading 3 animal-related non-profit organizations. Her positions require passion, attention to detail, organizational skills, planning, implementation and vision.

She enjoys this beautiful community of property owners and residents and looks forward to collaboratively leading the SBF- BOD to continue to build a thriving neighborhood.

Vice President: Jack Dailey               
  • Shares many of the leadership and procedural duties with the President, including assuming the leadership role when the President is unable to do so. 

  • Ensures order is maintained during meetings and parliamentary procedures are followed, ensuring a smooth flow of business and serving as an informed source about association rules, bylaws and governing documents.

  • Assume such additional duties as are defined by the Board. Often, be the designated chairperson for chair one or more substantive committees to address major issues; for example, new construction projects or activities involving large capital expense.

 

Jack is a full time resident and has served 9 years on the POA Board here in Sweetbriar Farms. He is a retired Superintendent for the NY/NJ office of Turner Construction and has 50 years experience in that industry. He was also the past recording secretary and the President of the Hudson Valley Council of Carpenters as well as served as President of the Parish Council of his church. He has been a resident here for 11 years and is dedicated to making SBF a great community. 

Secretary: Matt Lampe
  • Documents the POA meeting minutes and records, including property owner information and maintenance history.

  • Ensures records are stored safely and accessible to association members.

  • Works closely with the President and Board to develop meeting agendas.

  • Provides proper notice of meetings, as well as distributing documents, such as official records, agendas and meeting minutes, on a timely basis to association members and/or their authorized representatives.

  • Ensures the association meets all legal documentation requirements, such as annual filing deadlines.

  • Creates and manages the distribution of an end-of-year newsletter to help keep the community current on activities, events, projects, and general association information.

  • Provides communication network with Property Owners using SBF email account and community emails/letters.

Matt Lampe has owned in Sweetbriar since 2021.  After living full-time  in Sweetbriar, in 2023 he and his wife Sophie moved to Hendersonville to reduce their driving time.   They have personally operated their property as a vacation rental to be able to continue their ownership of the property,  which remains their pride and joy.

Prior to retirement in 2017, Matt spent 46 years in various government roles including 10 years heading construction inspection and permitting for a major West Coast city and 20 years in technology.

Matt was an officer of an HOA in Seattle for 15 years, on the maintenance committee for a large condominium in Portland,  and active with an HOA in Hawaii.

Treasurer: Chris Stonecash
  • Responsible for the association’s funds, securities and financial records

  • Oversees billing, collections and disbursement of funds

  • Collects the mail, bills and due from the post office weekly. When dues are expected, collect the mail at least twice a week.

  • Coordinates the development of the association’s proposed annual operating budget and reserve allocations. 

  • Monitors the budget and reporting on the association’s financial status throughout the year

  • Oversees year-end reporting and any required audits.

Chris Stonecash and his wife, Linda, moved to the area over seven years ago and are full-time residents of Sweetbriar Farms North. Chris is a retired software engineer who spent 50-plus years creating software including web sites for financial services and for medical devices. He received his degree in Computer Science and has a master’s degree in business administration. He has been Vice President of the SBF POA and has been the Secretary of the POA for the last two years and was responsible for maintaining the POA website. He also has and continues to volunteer for local charities.

Alternate: Angie Zimmer
  • Assumes the duties of the Board Officer position that has been vacated. This position is held until the next scheduled election of Board Officers.  

  • As necessary, assumes additional duties that may be defined by the Board. In addition, as may become necessary, may be the designated the chairperson for more substantive committees to address major community issues; for example, new construction projects or activities involving large capital expense.

Angie and her husband Michael found their lot in Sweetbriar Farms in 2024 after 5 years of full-time RV travel.  They built their home this year (2025), and plan to live in the community full-time when not
traveling.  They have friends and family in all parts of the U.S. and plan to continue to travel part-time to visit and explore areas they haven't seen.

Angie retired in 2022 after 41 years working in various accounting and
finance roles, primarily in manufacturing.  She continues to work
part-time for friends that run a short-term rental management company.
