To our Owners in Sweetbriar Farms,

 

It is time to pay the dues that support our quality of life. The Board of Directors (BOD) wants to make it easy for you to pay those dues. The Board sends out an invoice with the details of your payment. You, as an owner, have three different options to pay those dues.

 

First, you can write a check, put it in an envelope, address the envelope to Sweetbriar Farms (SBF) Property Owners Association, PO Box 44, Lake Lure, NC 28746, find a stamp, and give the envelope to the United States Postal Service.

 

Second, your bank may provide a “bill pay” feature which allows you – through the bank’s online banking website — to provide the address for and the amount of payment and have the bank take care of all the details. Many banks do not charge for this service, but you should have a conversation with your friendly neighbor banker to be sure.

Third, in 2025, we are offering our owners the ability to charge their dues through PayPal. The “Pay my Dues” button is available below. Since PayPal and the underlying credit card companies take a percentage of each transaction, we are adding a surcharge on the dues payment of $25 for a total of $600 for calendar year 2025. The surcharge only applies if you charge your dues. It does not apply if you mail a check or you use the bill pay feature of your online banking account.

 

In all cases, payments are due no later than January 31, 2025. Payments received after the due date will be charged a $25.00 per month late fee (per paragraph 11 of Covenants). Late payments made through PayPal will be charged $25.00 per month to cover PayPal and credit card company fees associated with processing the credit card transaction.
